Christmas Sorrow

My heart goes out to the young man who was crushed to death by a stampede of shoppers yesterday at Wal-Mart on Long Island, New York. Let us pray that his family and friends find the strength to forgive those that participated in the senseless stampede. Let us also pray that the darkness associated with this tragic event leads people to seek Love.

Christmas is supposed to be a time of love, joy and peace - a time of Spiritual fruit. Instead, it has turned into a time of insanity, death and great sorrow.

May the Lord have mercy on us all.
