The Church Jesus is Building

I was having a discussing with some Spirit-filled hearts today via email and one of those hearts made an observation that I thought was pure wisdom. My friend said:

"His church is built on revelation."

Can you see the incredible light in that simple sentence? It's blinding!

The Church Jesus is building is being constructed through hearts that see Him. Most people tend to think of a church as a building that you go to once a week for an hour or two. People that see the Lord know that the true Church is Christ! He is the Church! And when we see Him through revelation, we become part of His Church - living stones in His Church!

The Lord revealed Himself to me as Love through 1 Corinthians 13. Moses saw the Lord in a burning bush. T. Austin-Sparks saw Christ in Romans Chapter 6. Chip Brogden, the founder of The School of Christ, saw Christ while reading Ephesians Chapter 1. He has revealed Himself to others as Truth, Faithfulness, Joy, Peace, The Alpha and the Omega, among many other things.

To see Christ through revelation is a miracle of God. It's a tremendous blessing. The more of the Lord you see, the deeper into the Kingdom you go. No human heart has ever explored the depths of His Kingdom, to my knowledge. I am not sure if that is even possible!

Jesus is building his Church on revelation - on us seeing more of Him.

He must increase, but we must decrease.
(John 3:30)
